Susan Rafaat, M.Sc., R.SLP, S-LP (C)

Susan has been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years. Susan has extensive experience working with infants, preschoolers, and school aged children. Her
areas of interest include motor speech disorders, cleft lip and palate, phonological difficulties, and early language difficulties. She is both Hanen and PROMPT certified.

In addition to her clinical endeavors, Susan taught an undergraduate university course in Speech Language Pathology. She has led multi-disciplinary health care teams and has participated in research related to articulation and language therapy for preschoolers.

Susan is registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) and certified with the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA).

 

Nicole Kinaschuk, M.Sc., R.SLP, S-LP (C)

Nicole has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist for more than twelve years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in May 1996 and her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in December 1997.

She is a registered member of the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.

Nicole has experience working with preschool and school age children with communication disorders. Her areas of interest include Autism and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.

Genevieve Cloutier, M.Sc., R.SLP, S-LP (C)

Genevieve has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist since completing her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at McGill University in 2004.

She is an English-French bilingual therapist whose experience includes working with toddlers, preschoolers and early school-aged children with a variety of speech and language delays and disorders. Her scope of practice includes the assessment and treatment of articulation/phonological difficulties, motor speech disorders, early language difficulties, stuttering, and early literacy development. In addition to her clinical practice, Genevieve has a strong background in research and has participated in numerous studies related to speech, language and pre-reading development.

Genevieve is a registered member of the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) and a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). She also has Hanen certification and specialized training in the Lidcombe Program for Early Stuttering and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
